In Turkey traditional sandals are associated with Bodrum, and in particular with the infamous leather sandal craftsman Ali Güven. In his time Güven made sandals for International celebrities including Sting, Mick Jagger and Princess of Dubai, Latiffah Abdrahman. Husna dreamed of learn-ing the craft of Ali Güvenfrom a very young age, but had no idea that one day she would fulfill this dream. But in 2005 on a trip to Budrum, she met him, and had the honor of getting private lessons to learn his craft with him. From there she started her journey to continue the same mission and vision. Husna sandals are made in the same way late Ali Guven produced each of his extraordinary pieces, 100 % by hand without the touch of any machine.
