Reema Al Banna is the young designer and owner of the UAE-based award winning fashion line Reemami, an eclectic, bold, playful and luxurious fashion brand. Born and raised in the UAE, Reema began her career as a graphic designer before the prominent French Fashion University in Dubai, ESMOD, before launching her dream label – Reemami.

A brand for the young and young at heart, Reemami’s ethos are fun, optimism, positivity and creativity. The brand identity is shaped by Reema’s love for creativity, through having unexpected cuts and details, and treating each item as a piece of art. Reema also has a huge passion with experimenting with new cuts and creating new volumes, which give her line its signature style. The individuality of Reemami has been acknowledged by fashionistas and critics, who have described the brand as ‘a breath of fresh air to Dubai’s fashion scene’.

Reema does not follow seasonal trends; instead, she tries to be innovative, which feeds her creativity and allows her to constantly explore new and different styles.

On a positive note, Reemami was nominated in 2011, 2012 & 2013 as the Best Regional/Local Designer at the Grazia Style Awards. And was crowned as “the Most Creative Designer” at a fashion show which consisted of 9 other regional designers. Reemami was also listed among Ahlan’s Best 10 Fashion brands in 2011. Reema Al Banna has also been listed in Emirates Woman Magazine among the top 25 faces to know in the UAE in 2012.

Reemami is also active as a socially responsible brand, Reemami held its first Compassion Show in 2012 in support of PCRF, Paelestine Children Relief Fund.. Reemami also showcased her Fall’14 collection in an event organized to raise awareness for Mawahib School for Beautiful People. Reemami participated in Charity events held to raise money for autism, breast cancer awareness, injured children, and helping the community as a whole.

Not only is Reema Al Banna excelling in Fashion design and graphic design, she also won a Jewelry design competition hosted by Damas, and designed an award winning necklace worth AED 10,000.
