Rita Szilas graduated from Budapest Fashion School in Hungary.
Although she also holds a diploma in Law, her true “love” remains fashion.

Her unique clothes and bags branded ”SzilasRita” are designed fit to international markets.

During her carrier she has been designing for two of Hungary’s largest commercial TV channels. Presently she is participating as stylist to channel Tv2’s shows watched by millions. Her creativity has contributed to the success of some major TV shows like X-Factor and “School of Song” a popular children’s talent show. She has also tried herself in movies such as “SOS Love” or “Argo” where she designed clothes and customs for actors in the movies.

Rita is an advocate for quality and a believer in the importance of fashion. She has always been full of great ideas inspired by objects around her. According to her designing is a form of art and creations of fashion designers transfer values as a creation of any other artist.

The ambiance of contemporary art and poetry can be traced in her designs. Shirts with quotes of contemporary writers, typewriter handbags reflect culture through fashion. Cobbles from the Castle of Buda, man-hole covers from downtown Budapest, the pebbles of the Danube, and above of the Danube river, the historical Chain bridge connecting two parts of the city are all inspirations from her hometown that can be find in her designs.
