The designer Hachi was born in JAPAN in 1985.

He has graduated Electrical control engineering in high school, and fashion design school in Tokyo.
After graduated, he started his own label “BALMUNG”.

“Interested in Tokyo’s exciting things.” is philosophy of how he makes.
There are from daily casual to special one, everything is actuality but like fiction.
His unique concept is inspired by Tokyo’s elements.

In 2011, collaborated with Terence koh on the magazine “THE INTERNATIONAL” curated Terence koh.
And BALMUNG exhibited his 2012 S/S collection in LONDON fashion week at the store PRIMITIVE LONDON.
From 2013 S/S season, BALMUNG shows collection in the showroom in PARIS.
