Khulood Khoory obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications from the American University of Sharjah. Her work has been exhibited at the Bastakiya Art Fair, Emirati Expressions in Abu Dhabi, at the Meem Gallery, and at the Sheikha Manal New Signature Art Exhibition. She was also a contributing designer for the Gulf City reports for Al Manakh 2, a publication led by Rem Koolhas. In 2010 she launched her individual fashion label, LIGLIG, which includes unique and limited collections of bags, clutches and accessories for modern young women.The collection of bags and accessories are simple in shape but bold in their statements. The color rich nature of the bags use especially hand selected and sourced fabrics, fuse a mix of textures and embellishments all whilst reflecting elements of the UAE’s culture.
